Brianna Richardson – Dental Assistant

I assist Dr. Brown with procedures, take X-rays, and am at her side throughout the appointment. I love seeing the end results of patients' treatments and their healthy, beautiful smiles. Our doctor is great, and I love her as a person, not only as dentist.

I am married to my husband, Zach, and in my spare time, I can be found lounging at the pool, going to church and bible studies, and cooking new things. I also teach Sunday school. Something you might not guess about me is that I like peanut butter on ham sandwiches.

Tanya Snider – Dental Assistant

I believe the most satisfying aspect of working as a Dental Assistant is helping people to obtain the smile of their dreams.  Spending quality time with patients during a procedure, learning about their history and hobbies is important. The more we know about their story the better we can satisfy their needs and give them the treatment they deserve. 

I began my training as a Dental Assistant in 1991 and have a background in both general Dentistry and Orthodontics. My husband Mark and I have two children, a daughter named Bailee and a son named Corben. Our dog Bella keeps our family busy. My hobbies are photography, arts and crafts. I moved to the United States 10 years ago and am originally from a little sugar cane town in North Eastern Australia. 

Lisa Lewis – Registered Dental Hygienist

For over 20 years, I have had the pleasure of practicing dental hygiene which I love with all my heart.  As a native of the Hampton Roads area, I graduated from Old Dominion University in 1991.  I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of dentistry from educating patients, listening to their concerns, and building relationships with them.  I love learning and continuing education feeds my lifelong desire to know more about dentistry and new technology.  I am so fortunate to be a part of an office that thrives on providing five-star patient service and staying on the cutting edge.

When not at my "home away from home", I can be found with my family in the Great Bridge/Hickory area.  My family includes my husband, Lee, a Portsmouth fire fighter, and my two beautiful daughters, Gwendolyn and Grace, and of course our yellow lab, Herbie and our cat, Bella.  I love any kind of water activity from  going to the beach, the lake, water parks, to swimming in our pool.  I also enjoy playing tennis, going to the gym, or cooking with my girls 

Theresa Flores – Practice Administrator and Financial Coordinator

I oversee the management of the practice and help Dr. Brown  facilitate patient care. I help empower the team to take good care of the patients while also managing the business side of the practice. The best part of my job is helping patients achieve the smile they want and deserve. Our doctor and entire team are passionate about dentistry and patient care. We know how to work as a team, and we’re all friends outside the office.

I have a son, Aiden, and a step-daughter named Olivia with my husband, Julio. We also have a dog named Cisco. In my free time, I love the outdoors, so I try to go camping or to the beach. I love sports and even played football when I was nine.

Michelle Tarrant – Scheduling Coordinator

As the scheduling coordinator, I schedule appointments, follow up on patients who have missed appointments, take care of new patients, and comfort the anxious ones! Our patients are family, so it is important to connect with them. I am more than a smiling face behind the desk; I am a friend, and I know every person who walks in the door. We are here to change people’s lives, and we want them to be comfortable, safe, and welcome.

I have a full house with my husband, Michael, my daughters, Emily and Carly, and a menagerie of cats and dogs. When I’m not in the office, you can find me at the beach!  I am an active member of Greenbrier Community Church and an avid NASCAR fan.

Ashley Boland – Dental Assistant

I assist Dr. Brown with procedures and help our other team members when needed. I also educate our patients by answering any questions or explaining treatment. I love meeting new patients and building relationships with them based on trust and compassion. I feel so grateful to work in such a positive environment with two doctors who are passionate about what they do. Along with the rest of our team, we are all committed to our patients and their well-being.

My husband, Chris, and I have a son named Spencer, two cats named Sophie and Smokey, and a dog, Kasey. When I have free time I love to listen to music, spend time with my family on the beach, and hang out with my friends.

Megan Martinez – Dental Hygienist

I am responsible for all aspects of our patients’ care, from cleaning teeth and taking X-rays to providing education and making them smile. I try to use a fun approach to dental hygiene and patient education because I want my patients to enjoy their dental experience as much as I do! It is so fulfilling to know that I’ve made a small difference in the overall health of my patients.

At home, I have a wonderful little cat named Bailey. In my spare time I enjoy reading, running, cycling, and shopping.
